Alexandra Quilt – Growing Years Quilt
The Alexandra Quilt – Growing Years Quilt is designed for families who have kept clothes from more than one stage of childhood.
While my Original Keepsake Quilt uses uniform patch sizes, this style combines two complementary patch sizes to allow me to work with both very small garments and larger pieces. This means newborn clothes, babywear, and toddler items can all be included in one cohesive quilt, without losing special details or having to overly cut down treasured pieces.
This layout came about when creating a quilt from a bundle of clothes that spanned several years. Using a mix of smaller and larger patches made it possible to honour each stage properly, creating a keepsake that truly reflects a child’s early years of growth.
The Growing Years Quilt is ideal if:
You have clothes from newborn through to toddler years
You’ve been holding onto garments because they felt too small or too special to part with
You want a quilt that captures a moment in time when you had a newborn and an older child — keeping both children’s clothes together in a quilt helps cement those memories for years to come

Each quilt is carefully planned and made by me, ensuring the mix of patch sizes feels balanced and the finished quilt is practical, durable, and full of meaning.
As with all my keepsake quilts, every Alexandra Quilt is completely unique and made using the clothes you provide.

- All quilts come with a 100% cotton backing. A plain textured cotton is included as standard. Printed quilting cottons are available as an optional upgrade.

Complete the order form via the link in your email and include your address for sending your items.

Send your clothes. Gather your treasured items and send them washed but uncut, leaving everything else to me. Please post them using a tracked service, or arrange collection if you’re local to Grantham, Lincolnshire.
