My Memory Patch keepsake cushion is designed for customers who would like to create a cushion using smaller sections of clothing, especially when most items have already been used in a quilt or blanket.
This design features 36 evenly sized patches arranged in a 6 x 6 layout, allowing me to carefully use smaller fabric pieces to create a beautifully detailed and meaningful keepsake.
It is ideal for clothes with smaller prints, simple patterns, or plain fabrics, as large motifs may not fit within the patch size.
Each cushion is handmade by me using your baby’s clothing, with close attention to detail to ensure the finished piece is balanced, neat, and long-lasting.
This style is perfect as an additional keepsake to accompany a quilt or blanket and is a lovely way to make sure no special fabric goes to waste.

Backing options:
Standard envelope back with plain cotton backing
Deluxe double-sided finish with zip, using your baby clothes on both sides
Sending Your Clothes
This design works particularly well when you have already ordered a quilt or blanket and would like to use remaining fabric for an extra cushion. For a stand alone quilt 8+ is recommended.
If you are unsure whether your clothing is suitable, feel free to send me a photo before ordering and I will be happy to advise.
I can also make multiple cushions from the same clothes, making it easy to share memories with family and friends.
- Choose your backing option.
- All envelope cushions come with a 100% cotton backing. A plain or textured cotton is included as standard. Other backing options are available at an additional cost
- Place your order. You’ll receive an order confirmation email.
- Complete the order form via the link in your email and include your address for sending your items.
- Send your clothes. Gather your treasured items and post them to me using a tracked service, or arrange collection if you’re local to Grantham, Lincolnshire.
- Relax while I create your quilt. I’ll message you when I receive your items and keep you updated throughout the process.
