My Designer Patch keepsake cushion is perfect if you would like a more detailed and carefully planned design using your baby’s special clothes. This layout features two larger feature patches alongside eight smaller patchwork squares, creating a balanced and eye-catching keepsake.
Each cushion is individually handmade by me using the clothing you send, with close attention given to colour, pattern, and placement. The mix of larger and smaller patches allows special outfits to stand out while still showcasing a variety of meaningful fabrics.
Whether made from everyday favourites, milestone outfits, or treasured blankets, your cushion will become a lasting reminder of those early years.
It makes a lovely addition to any nursery, bedroom, or living space and is also a thoughtful gift for new parents and families.

Size: 45cm x 45cm
Design: Designer Patch layout with two larger feature patches and eight smaller squares
Items needed: Approximately 6–10 items
Backing options:
Standard envelope back with plain cotton backing
Deluxe double-sided finish with zip, using your baby clothes on both sides
For this design, I recommend sending at least 6 items to allow enough choice for the larger feature patches and surrounding squares. If you have already ordered a quilt or blanket and provided a larger selection of clothing, there is no need to send extra.
I can also make multiple cushions from the same clothes, which is ideal for sharing memories with family and friends.
- Choose your backing option.
- All envelope cushions come with a 100% cotton backing. A plain or textured cotton is included as standard. Other backing options are available at an additional cost
- Place your order. You’ll receive an order confirmation email.
- Complete the order form via the link in your email and include your address for sending your items.
- Send your clothes. Gather your treasured items and post them to me using a tracked service, or arrange collection if you’re local to Grantham, Lincolnshire.
- Relax while I create your quilt. I’ll message you when I receive your items and keep you updated throughout the process.
